Aluminum Hypophosphite Flame Retardant 4138 is a novel type of flame retardant based on phosphates. Flame retardant 4138 has good stability and does not cause polymer decomposition during processing, nor does it affect plastic molding compounds. This product is insoluble in water and does not volatilize under normal conditions for preparing and processing thermoplastic polymers. It makes the application products have high thermal stability and good mechanical properties, as well as good resistance to weathering. The polymer compound containing phosphates exhibits high flame retardancy. Due to the high phosphate content, this product has advantages such as good thermal stability, low water solubility, and high flame retardancy, achieving excellent flame retardant effect.
PA6, PET and other modified engineering plastics;
PP, PE, TPE, TPR, and other elastomers and soft rubber;
Water-soluble and oil-soluble coatings;
The addition of this product to PET reduces the release of heat and the heat generated during combustion, and increases the amount of char after burning. The flame retardancy reaches UL94 standard V-0 level, and the flame retardant effect is 60% higher than the currently used PET flame retardant in China. The addition of this product to coatings can achieve a first-class fire protection level.
